doubt = the serpent

I read once: doubt was the serpent in the garden of Eden, not sexuality.
if no doubt: I would feel, trust  my feeling and do it...

mind comes in and says...ah....yes..... but are you sure.... ?
maybe it is like this instead.... ?
or like that ????
